- Enter your domain name in Site Explorer. In the Overview tab, you’ll see general information about the domain, including the Domain Rating (DR). Note down the DR, as we’ll refer to this metric later in the research process.
Go to the Keyword Explorer tab and enter the keyword you want to rank for. Be sure to select your target country for more accurate results.
- Scroll down to the Position History section. If the graph shows strong volatility, it indicates that the keyword lacks highly authoritative players, suggesting competition and potential growth opportunities. Conversely, a flat and stagnant graph suggests it will be very challenging to rank for the selected keyword.
