SOME THINGS ARE FAST.

AI visibility consultants love to say it takes months. Some of it does - content compounding, citation latency, freshness lifts. But a meaningful chunk of the work is fast. The seven items below ship in 30 days, cost nothing or near-nothing, and produce measurable AI bot behaviour change.

If you are a one-person operator with a $0 budget for AI visibility, this is your sequence. If you are commissioning an agency, this is the floor of what they should ship in the first month before any "strategy" or "content audits" begin.

Finding 01.
Days 1-3

ROBOTS.TXT ALLOWLIST.

Audit your current robots.txt. Apply the appropriate config from article N. 10 (most likely Config 01 "allow all" or Config 02 "allow citation, block training"). Remove deprecated identifiers (Claude-Web, anthropic-ai). Add the current 2026 active list.

Verify with the curl tests from article N. 09 - all major bots should return 200, not 403.

Days 4-7

BING WEBMASTER SETUP.

Run the six-step Bing Webmaster Tools setup from article N. 21. Submit your sitemap. Enable IndexNow.

This is the single highest-ROI intervention. ChatGPT and Claude both depend on Bing for retrieval; sites not in Bing are structurally hidden from three of four AI surfaces.

Days 8-14

SCHEMA BASICS.

Implement the five-type minimum schema set from article N. 04: Organization at root, Person for authors, WebSite with SearchAction, BreadcrumbList on every non-root page, Article on every blog/research post.

Days 15-21

RSS ENRICHMENT.

Apply the four-signal enrichment from article N. 16: full content in <content:encoded>, accurate RFC-822 timestamps, discoverable from <head>, accessible to AI bots in robots.txt.

Verify with the W3C feed validator. Curl-test the feed with an AI bot user-agent. Confirm the first item contains substantive HTML.

Days 22-25

CLOUDFLARE BOT AUDIT.

Run the four-culprit detection from article N. 09. Disable any "Block AI crawlers" toggle. Adjust bot fight mode to "Super bot fight mode" with verified-bot allowlist. Audit WAF custom rules. Loosen rate-limiting if it is too aggressive for bot crawl patterns.

Days 26-28

SITEMAP ACCURACY.

Run the five-defect audit from article N. 22. Fix lastmod to reflect actual content changes. Remove noindex pages. Verify completeness. Add Sitemap: line to robots.txt. Resubmit to BWT and Google Search Console.

Finding 07.
Days 29-30

CITATION BASELINE.

Pick 10-20 queries your audience would naturally ask. Run them through ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews. Screenshot the citations. Note whether your site is cited, where it is cited, and the surrounding context.

This is the baseline you measure against in 90 days. Without it, you cannot prove the prior six items moved the needle.
